The leadership myth misdirects professionals, community members, and executives to outsource their power, purpose, and effectiveness. This interactive session will teach participants to:
- Identify and set aside "the leadership myth" that limits your ability to make an impact in professionally and personally
- Learn to embrace your role as leader in your career, community, and causes
- Recognize why people in every walk of life make decisions that don’t serve them and what to do instead
- Immediately apply the tools to empower and elevate the decision-making and leadership effectiveness of others
Presenter Asia Bribiesca-Hedin, MBA, MPA is the Founder and CEO of Bridgewell LLC Professional Services, a leadership development and strategy execution firm in Southern California. She applies her 20-year strategy background to help organizations, teams, and professionals gain clarity and make decisions that support their top priorities.
Asia started her career with Ernst & Young, a global management consulting firm, as a senior consultant right out of business school and that began her journey to becoming a trusted advisor to executives across a variety of industries. Prior to founding Bridgewell LLC, she spent 9 years at a comprehensive cancer center in the Los Angeles area, helping hospital and research leaders deliver on the enterprise's multi-year strategic plan, including efforts for their Office of Philanthropy. Today, she brings her strategic lens to helping clients gain the clarity, confidence, and certainty they need to successfully lead their careers, their teams, and their organizations, even in the most uncertain environments.
Asia is a proud graduate of the University of Southern California where she earned both her MBA and MPA degrees after earning her Bachelor of Science in management from Pepperdine University. Asia continued her education to include advanced training in leadership, psychology, coaching, and real estate development. Asia is at home in Southern California with her husband and their 3 children.
