Fundraising
In order to support the mission of the Junior League of Riverside (JLR), as well as the goals of the organizations in which JLR collaborates with, we solicit donations in several ways. We are grateful for the support we receive from our members and the community.
The Junior League of Riverside’s (JLR) 56th Annual Charity Ball theme is "As Time Goes By". Our signature fundraiser is a black tie event filled with a silent auction, spectacular plated dinner, the music to take us into the late hours. This year our ball will be held Friday, December 2, 2011. We will be returning to Riverside's most beautiful homes for cocktails from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. with dinner, auction and dancing to follow at Victoria Club beginning at 7:30 p.m. The net proceeds from the 2011 Charity Ball will support our community outreach focus with projects like fitRiverside, a program designed to bring fitness to our communities and fight childhood obesity, as well as our mission of training community volunteers.
Once a year in the spring, the Junior League of Riverside embarks on an Annual Giving Campaign to solicit donations from our members and the community. We are grateful for the generous support we receive from this campaign.
The Junior League of Riverside Endowment Fund was created by Past President Donna Baker in 1998, to mark our 70th anniversary. This fund quietly grows and generates income to support our community projects in perpetuity.
