ANNUAL CHARITY BALL

The Junior League of Riverside’s (JLR) Annual Charity Ball is our signature fundraiser. This is a black tie event filled with a live & silent auction, a spectacular plated dinner from Riverside’s own Chef Leone of Mario’s Place Restaurant, the music of Sozo Jazz Orchestra and a DJ to take us into the late hours. This year our ball will be held on Saturday, December 5th at the Orange Terrace Community Center. The net proceeds from the Charity Ball will support our community outreach focus with projects directed at youth partnership and mentoring as well as our mission of training community volunteers.

KIDS IN THE KITCHEN

The Junior League of Riverside (JLR) Kids in the Kitchen program is a nutrition and healthy lifestyle initiative designed to address the issues of childhood obesity and poor nutrition. This year our event was held at the Riverside Plaza attracting over 500 children. The day was filled with presentations, interactive booths and games designed to introduce children to healthy living.
