In March, the Junior League of Riverside presents its 3rd Annual Truck-a-Palooza! This FREE family-friendly event will take place 10th of March on Mission Inn Avenue between Orange St. and Lime St. in Downtown Riverside and will feature first responder vehicles, trucks from local businesses, a book mobile and a blood bank. Kids of all ages will enjoy climbing on, taking pictures with and learning about a variety of vehicles.

For the past two years Truck-a-Palooza (previously Touch-a-Truck) has taken place at FLABOB airport and featured dozens of trucks and their operators for kids to engage with local vendors, a radio station & live music. Each year a local company sponsors a beach ball dump raining hundreds of beach balls down for the kiddoes.

To support the projects of the Junior League, the day will include both a diaper drive and a book drive. The Junior League of Riverside provides free little libraries in several local communities that are not within walking distance of their closest public library. Additionally, the Junior League is in the process of establishing the first Diaper Bank in the Inland Empire. Currently the Junior League provides diapers to those in need through community partnerships with Family Services Association, The Wylie Center and Redlands Christian Counseling.

The Junior League of Riverside, Inc. is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through the effective action and leadership. Our trained volunteers proudly serve the communities of the Inland Empire including Riverside and San Bernardino.
