Come celebrate the Kentucky Derby in style! On Saturday, May 5, 2018, from 2-6 p.m., the Junior League of Riverside (JLR) will host a Derby Day celebration at SilverLakes Sports Complex in Norco, California featuring Kentucky Derby-themed food and beverage pairings, live and silent auctions, and a real-time viewing of the two most exciting two minutes in sports! The event will also feature a best-dressed contest.

Tickets are currently $75 per person and net proceeds from the event will benefit the mission of the Junior League of Riverside, Inc. JLR is currently working on launching a diaper bank to serve the Inland Empire region to serve those that struggle with diaper need. While some food banks, shelters, and programs offer diapers on a small scale to their clients, this will be the first full-scale diaper bank in the Inland Empire and will serve all of Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. Presently, the Junior League of Riverside provides diapers through community partnerships with Family Services Association, The Wylie Center, and Redlands Christian Counseling. We are working to address the issue of diaper need because according to the National Diaper Bank, one in three families in the United States struggle with diaper need.

Join the festivities on May 5, 2018, from 2-6 p.m. at SilverLakes Sports Complex by purchasing tickets at http://bit.ly/jlrderby. Tickets are $75 per person until April 21. Ticket prices will increase to $85 per person after April 21.
